“Sportrait” is the photographers name for a professionally photographed, edited, and enhance portrait that celebrates your sport, hobby, or interest. I don’t not limit Sportraits to athletes, whatever your hobby or interest be we can work together to create an epic image.
The Sportraits I create are designed to be a dynamic, unique piece of art that will take pride of place in your home. They are ideal presents for athletes, gymnasts, dancers, musicians, and their families. Sportraits are also prefect for schools, sports clubs, and business to showcase their sports and activities.
Team / School
For my Team / School Sportraits I use a combination of natural or dramatic strobe lighting sometimes coupled with fog or coloured lighting. Typically I shoot my Sportraits indoors against a grey, white, or green background. The background is replaced during editing and replaced with a digital background. Sportraits are loved by parents and are also prefect for schools, sports clubs, and business to showcase their sports and activities.
Sportraits
My Sportraits are designed to be a dynamic, unique piece of art that will take pride of place in your home. They are ideal presents for athletes, gymnasts, dancers, musicians, and their families. I photograph with a background and dramatic strobe lighting. Depending on the theme I may include smoke, coloured lighting and other effects during the shoot.
Private Group
Private Group If you are excited by Sportraits, the chances are other people at your school, club or business will be too! Why not book you own private group session. This provides a great solution for athletes wanting something a bit different without booking a full individual session.
Find a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 others who would also like a Sportrait shoot. Contact me for details of dates and theme options. Confirm your date and provide me the contact details for all those wanting to take park in the photo shoot. I will then schedule you booking and send everyone a link to purchase a package of their choosing. Once everyone wishing to attend the session has purchased a package the booking will be confirmed.
Mini Sessions
Mini sessions are held indoors, and I shoot against a grey, white, or green background. The background is replaced during editing with a digital background. Sessions are hosted at a local studio or village hall in a central location. Each mini session theme will include background, lighting and three poses. Some special mini sessions may include smoke and coloured lighting.
Action Sportraits
Combining my portrait and sport event photography skills I create unique, dynamic Action Sportraits. Having the action take place in a controlled environment provides multiple opportunities to capture the desired image.
Sessions are a combination of staged moving and static shots. Typically using natural and strobe light they can also include water, smoke, and other special effects. These sessions provide the perfect opportunity to create professional images that you would see on a magazine cover.
Sports Events
Motion In Focus specialises in capturing action photos of participants at sports events. Using professional equipment, and years of practice I can capture the high-speed shot others miss.
I have years of experience photographing at sports events. From small local events to world championships. I have provided everything from participant photos to general event coverage for marketing.
